Discover the mountains in winter!
Snowshoeing excursions are a magnificent way to enjoy the wonderful snowy landscapes and discover the animal tracks left on the snow, learn about the wildlife, vegetation, and dreamy landscapes. All of this is accompanied by our specialized guides, who will provide explanations with all kinds of curiosities. With a few minutes of practice, we will quickly grasp the technique to walk with ease.
Two types of snowshoeing excursions:
National parkd’Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici
We will take a 4×4 taxi from Espot to Lake Sant Maurici. From there, we will start the excursion to the Ratera waterfall and then ascend to the lake of the same name. Once the activity is finished, the 4×4 will pick us up again to take us back to the village of Espot.
National Park l’Alt Pirineu – Sky resort Espot
The route starts on foot from the ski resort of Espot, at an altitude of 1,500 meters. We will take a chairlift up to 2,000 meters. From there, we will begin the snowshoeing excursion to the Quatrepins refuge at 2,500 meters. During the journey, we will pass through the Clots de la Bassa and the Creu de l’Eixol.
